Women’s group work · Coquitlam, BC

Some things only move in the company of other women

A small, closed group that meets regularly to do real work. Not a lecture series and not a support circle, though it holds something of both. What happens between the women in the room is the method.

Why work in a group rather than one to one?

Individual therapy is a relationship with one person who is paid to be kind to you. A group is closer to life: several people, real reactions, and nowhere to hide the pattern you’ve been describing so eloquently in private. It’s also where people find the relief of being witnessed by women who aren’t surprised by any of it.

I often work with women exploring identity, personal growth and spiritual emergence — women who have typically done a great deal of work already and want a more spiritually aligned space for it. The group offers a grounded container for that transformation.

Agreements

What makes the room safe enough

  • What is said in the group stays in the group
  • We speak from our own experience rather than about each other
  • Attendance matters; the group is a body and absence is felt
  • Feedback is offered, not imposed, and can always be declined
  • No one is required to share anything before they’re ready

If you’re carrying something acute right now, individual work may be the better starting place. We can talk it through.
